Die Berner Gruppe ist Direktvertreiber im Kleinteile-Geschäft für die professionelle Anwendung im Bau- und Kfz-Handwerk sowie der Industrie. Im Geschäftsjahr 2008/09 gelang es ihr ein Umsatzplus von 2,1 % zu erzielen. Zum Bilanzstichtag am 31. März 2009 beschäftigte das Unternehmen 8.126 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter, davon 5.227 im Außendienst.
